A little about me

Hi, my name is Will and I currently live in Seattle, Washington. Ever since I was a kid growing up in Missouri, I’ve always been creating—writing songs in kindergarten, painting in grade school (paintings my mom still refuses to throw away). When I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to go to college but didn’t have the means. So I enlisted in the Army as a mechanic for five years, eventually using my GI Bill to earn an Arts degree from the University of Washington.

That creative pull never left. After college I found myself moving through roles that all centered on making things—interning at an art gallery, doing content and creative work for a local outdoor brand, and now shaping communications and marketing for an independent school.

What keeps me sharp creatively is movement. Cycling, and more recently sailing, continually remind me to pay attention to the overlooked moments in everyday life. My art and stories almost always trace back to motion, place, and the quiet details you only notice when you slow down.

Thanks for being here and for checking out my work.
